Virgin Voyages and other Cruise lines are now offering options for solo travelers. So grab your swimsuit; there's a wave of solo cruising on the horizon.

Premium Economy is becoming more important for airlines in terms of revenue potential. Airlines are adding premium economy cabins to more and more flights because travelers are willing to pay extra for a more comfortable flying experience. However, airlines need to ensure the premium economy is different enough from business class so that people keep flying business class.

As China is opening up again, travelers are looking for ideas all over the country. We wanted to share one of our favorite neighborhoods in Shanghai called the French Concession. From 1849 to 1946, this part of Shanghai was controlled by France (other parts of the city were controlled by America, Britain, and other European countries from 1849 to 1946. Even though it's part of China now, it has this distinct European vibe. The architecture is different, with lots of colonial-style buildings. Interestingly, this area was also a rebel base for some Chinese folks who opposed foreign rule. Your editors spent many a Sunday afternoon wandering around the concession while soaking up some fascinating history and French flair, all in the middle of Shanghai.

There's good news for travelers looking to fly between Denver and Istanbul Turkish Airlines will launch a new nonstop service starting June 11, 2024. Here's a quick rundown:

  • This will be the first ever direct flight between Denver and Istanbul.

  • Initially, flights will operate three times a week on Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Fridays.

  • By July 9th, a fourth weekly flight on Sundays will be added.

  • The flights will use Airbus A350-900 aircraft with 316 seats.

This new route will be the longest flight departing Denver International Airport (DIA), at approximately 12 hours.
