Robert Toth from the Wall Street Journal recently shared a personal anecdote. He recounts a transformative experience while touring catacombs in Rome during a family trip to Italy. Initially apprehensive, the visit turned into a profound moment of awe and reflection. By actively seeking out novel experiences, practicing mindfulness, and cultivating gratitude for everyday moments, one can preserve the sense of wonder long after the journey ends.

Qantas has unveiled significant enhancements to its frequent flyer program, addressing longstanding member concerns by introducing Classic Plus Flight Rewards, providing access to over 20 million additional reward seats. CEO Vanessa Hudson emphasized this as the program's most substantial expansion in its 35-year history, aiming to better recognize customer loyalty. Despite the requirement of more points for Classic Plus bookings, the increased availability—four times that of Classic Flight Rewards—offers improved access to destinations like London and Tokyo. While the revamp initially covers international flights, domestic options will follow by year's end. The move follows recent hints of program overhauls, including potential adjustments to points conversion rates, signaling a broader effort to enhance member benefits.
