Our friend sent this to us, and we aren’t quite sure how true it is; according to one worker, booking flights directly with the airline at the airport counter could be cheaper than using third-party websites. 🤔 Now we agree that third-party sites aren’t always the best when things go wrong. But according to the post, a former airline worker, shared this money-saving tip. She says booking directly can save you on service fees sometimes charged by online booking websites. 💸 However, some airlines may have fees for counter purchases, so be sure to ask first! Also, Avianca recommends booking 4-6 weeks in advance for the best flight deals. 📅 This may work in some instances; as for us, we go three routes: TMC, Third Party Site, and then airline site.
