Pacific Tips 2024 May 28: Seattle, New Orleans, and the new One Bangkok

Pacific Tips: 2024 May 28:

Here are some fun travel reads for Tuesday, Seattle, New Orleans, and the Massive new One Bangkok development!

  • Seattle may not be known for sunshine all year, but that makes it special! I love grabbing coffee (seriously, the best!) and strolling through Pike Place Market on a drizzly day. ☕️️

  • Or, you can spend a day hopping between museums, then hit the Eastside for wine tasting and a delicious seafood dinner. No matter what you choose, don't let the rain stop you! Pack your rain gear (ditch the umbrella; we don't use those here), explore the city like a local, and have fun!

  • Seattle, a city that caters to all interests, offers a plethora of outdoor activities. Whether it's enjoying the city views at Gas Works Park, basking in the sun at Alki Beach, or embarking on a peaceful day trip to Bainbridge Island, there's something for everyone. Seattle beckons you to explore its diverse offerings, no matter what kind of trip you're into.

One Bangkok to Open later this year! One Bangkok is a new large urban development project in Bangkok, Thailand.

  • It is the largest and most expensive urban development project in Thailand so far.

  • The project is taking over a 41-acre area in the heart of Bangkok.

  • One Bangkok will include five mixed-use buildings, three residential buildings, and five hotels.

  • The project is expected to be completed in Q4 of this year.

Jennifer Coolidge on New Orleans
Years ago, Jennifer Coolidge found herself unexpectedly charmed by New Orleans on a random New Year's Eve. Restaurants were booked, but a lucky call snagged them a table at Commander's Palace. After a delicious Creole meal, the night took a whimsical turn. They left with giant silver balloons, feeling like movie stars, and biked through the Garden District with the balloons bouncing like playful companions. This spontaneous, magical experience captured the essence of New Orleans for Jennifer: a city where anything goes and unplanned adventures turn into cherished memories. It's no wonder she eventually bought a home there.
